The present example has a great military look and is an important piece of college football history. Oklahoma A&M was the winning team in the 1946 Sugar Bowl, due in no small part to a 29-yard pass caught by halfback, Cecil Hankins. This watch was dedicated to Mr. Hankins. He would later switch from football to basketball and played for the St. Louis Bombers and Boston Celtics.
