Crafted in stainless steel, featuring a black dial and white luminous hour markers, luminous hands and center sweep second, magnified date aperture at 3 o’clock, unidirectional rotatable bezel 60-minute graduated; powered by a self winding automatic movement; screw-down case back and winding crown; waterproof to 660 feet; fitted with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet measuring 7 inches, case diameter 39 mm; weight 113.03 g.

The present Rolex reference 1680 is called a “White Sub” due to “SUBMARINER” being printed in white on the dial. The reference 1680 was the first Submariner to include the date. The present watch is notable for its beautiful and attractive off-white luminous material on the dial and hands. It is a beautiful example of a classic Rolex Submariner.
