The GMT Master was originally produced in 1954 as a result of the collaboration between Rolex and Pan American Airways. Pan Am needed a “tool” watch for pilots to track multiple time zones on transatlantic and transpacific routes. The GMT Master was the perfect watch for the job and has become one of Rolex’s most recognizable models with its iconic blue and red “Pepsi” bezel. The present example is beautifully maintained and original.
