Omega's Speedmaster has been in continuous production since it was introduced in 1957. The Speedmaster was chosen for NASA's astronauts and is famous for it's role in the Apollo missions. The present example is a 2998-6, which dates to the early 1960s. As an early "Pre-Professional" Speedmaster, it has the straight lug case and the celebrated 321 movement. It also features "Alpha hands" for the minute, hour and chronograph subdials. One of the most collectible vintage watches, the Omega Speedmaster is great piece to add to any collection.
