The straight lug OMEGA Seamaster is the original, most classic form of the watch. OMEGA’s first entry into professional diving was a hit and the Seamaster is one of the most desirable watches from the manufacturer. The present example from 1958, the second year of production, is identified by the broad arrow minute hand. The luminous material on the dial and hands matches well and has aged to a lovely beige color. The watch is further enhanced by the big lollipop seconds hand, a signature styling element of early watches of the 300 series.
