Girard Perregaux introduced this reference in the early 1970s as a successor to the Olimpico series of chronographs. The 42 mm cushion-shaped case is a design classic. The Valjoux 72 is a beautifully finished column wheel chronograph movement. The present example has a great look with its reverse panda dial layout, silver insert bezel, and touch of red to the minute counter.
