Gallet is the oldest maker of watches and locks, dating all the way back to 1457. The Multichron Pilot is part of the Clamshell line, named for the water resistant system of housing the case in a pod held in by four screws in the caseback. The present reference looks similar to the famous Flying Officer, with the more understated seconds and telemeter track in place of the world cities found on the Flying Officer.
